Happy Genevieve Day!!!

We heard that Genevieve has been having some ups and downs lately, so we swung by with some flowers to make sure today will be an up!  She was happily surprised that the flowers were for her.  When she asked what the occasion was, we replied, "Because today is Genevieve Day!"

Granny Genevieve is such a funny lady.  When we asked her what we to tell people if they asked about her picture, she smiled and said, "Tell them to turn around and run away!"  Well, after meeting Genevieve we just can't do that.  So instead, for all of you that see her picture, know that she is an extremely sweet lady with a refreshing sense of humor.

Our Wild Irish Rose!!!

Granny Marjorie hasn't been feeling very well lately, so we dropped by to pep her up and wish her well. Although we caught her by surprise, she assured us that it was a good surprise. She loved the flowers, especially the lilies.
Marjorie has enjoyed her long life as a mother of six children (5 boys and 1 girl), a beautician, and a farmer’s wife. She misses the good ol’ days on the farm, picking and eating fresh tomatoes from her garden, and listening to her favorite song, “My Wild Irish Rose.”
Marjorie is the most pleasant lady and we are glad that we could help her feel at least a little bit better today.

93 and has still got her Marbles!

Growing up Granny Anna never thought she would reach the young age of 93, but she is happy that she now has.  She says she is especially happy that she has kept all of her marbles so far.  

Anna is such a pleasant lady.  She is the mother of five, but does not get to see her children nearly as often as she would like.  She has a beautiful smile and loves to tell stories.  She promised that if we visit her again on a day when she has more "ummph!" she will tell us one of her favorite stories, "The Happy Prince."  We can't wait for that next visit.
When we delivered Anna's flowers, she was overwhelmed.  Over and over again she smiled and said, "Oh, now aren't those beautiful!"  We told her that we brought her some surprise flowers to make her smile and said that every morning when she woke up, she needed to look at her flowers and smile.  She said that she does not smile every morning, but promised she now will.

Granny Donna!!!

Granny Donna is the sweet-silent type!  She is known as the "eyes and ears" of the home because she is always up walking around, watching, listening, and smiling.  But the best thing about Donna is that you will never hear her say anything bad about anyone.  When she does speak up, she is always positive.  One of Donna's favorite things to do is to take a stroll around the home while talking on the phone with one of her sons, who lives back east.  Donna truly is an incredibly sweet Granny!
